let's try not to take risks in front of our 3-4 hitters, they won't strike out on pitches 3 feet outside every time up.

 

and i hope the 3-2 pitch to lee that was called a ball was a brain fart on the ump's part, because it's bad news if hill isn't getting that corner.

That's really just like Theriot was last year. He was mostly great on the basepaths, but he did things that make you wonder what he was thinking as well. That's the second simply mental baserunning blunder of the year by Theriot (the one against the Reds the first week as well).

For instance, I much prefer the "agressive within the zone" plate approach that DLee has as opposed to being passive.

"aggressive in a zone" is just another term for being patient. of course you want your hitters to swing at good pitches.
