The triple play shall unfold thusly:

 

Matt Murton is on 3rd base, Derrek Lee on 2nd, and A-Ram on 1st. Jacque Jones at bat.

 

Closer Bob Wickman uncorks a wild pitch to the back stop. Murton panics or a second before stumbling towards home, where he is tagged out by 10 feet. In the mean time, Lee attempts to take third and Ramirez second, but Lee gets caught in a run down, and both Derrek and Aramis end up standing on second, where Lee is tagged out. Thinking the ballgame is over, Ramirez starts trotting back to the dugout where he is tagged for the third out.

 

After this play, NSBB posters will blame Jacque for the loss

BTW, hopefully the batter/pitcher matchups will be wrong today, because the Cubs hitters have been terrible against Redman in the past.

 

Of those with 10+ at-bats

Blanco has the most at-bats and been the best hitter against Redman, but I doubt he plays today

Lee has had a very good OBP, but absolutely no XBH in 19 AB's

Floyd hasn't been terrible, but he hasn't been good either

Aramis, Jacque, and Barrett have been terrible

 

Those with less than 10 at-bats (of course, these have almost no value):

DeRosa has 2 2B's in 7 AB's

Murton 0-4, Izturis 0-2

 

On the other side, there is almost no data-the most any Braves hitter has had is 3 AB's against Hill, (Jones 0-3, Diaz-2 for 3 with a 2B)-nothing to base anything on there.

Im kinda pissed this getway game is a night game when the Cubs have to play a day game tomorrow. i know atlanta and STL are in the same time zones but this is crap. If teams are going to pull this crap on the Cubs they need to return the favor. They better kick their ass tonight because the braves are pissing me off right now.

mmm...i was just throwing a number out there...i didn't look at the schedule...but jeez...

 

looking at the schedule just now, i would say they could go on a 22 game win streak and possibly more because on the incredible off chance that that happens...they should be in prime form to swank the mets...
