Unbelievable, Eddings

Looked like a strike to me. Lee has to swing the bat if it's that close.

Close enough to at least foul off and stay alive. Two strike hitting is a lost art.

why didn't Quade send Soriano on Riot's single??

Cause we had no outs and 3,4,5 coming up.

it was dumb. Soriano is fast enough to score

He would have been out by 20 feet. The ball was hit too hard.

He hadn't even gotten to third when Freel fielded it. There's a really good chance he would have been out at the plate.

Real easy to second guess now. If you told me that runners were going to be at 1st and 3rd with no outs and the heart of the order coming up, I would NEVER send the runner home if it was going to be a close play.

You don't want to make the first out of an inning at home.

he would have been out by 20 feet, and he couldn't see into the future to know that jones and lee were going to choke.

Freel had the ball by the time Soriano made it to third. If the throw home was close, Soriano is out by at least 10 feet.
