Wow, is this umps strike zone REALLY small or is gameday just being generous. cause each and every one of these balls he's throwing are right on the line.

So far, I'd say the strike zone is just right. Carlos is missing by paper-thin margins, but he is missing.

Carlos looks like he has some good stuff today.

He's not overthrowing the ball. He'll have a good day if he keeps it up.

See what the media does? They perpetuate the $300 million payroll nonsense, keep repeating it over & over, no one ever challenges their facts.

Before you know it even Cub fans think we're spending twice as much as we are.

Well technically, they did commit to $300 million in future expenditures. But you are right, the way the 300 million figure gets tossed around so casually, I can see how people could be misled. That talking point got tired and played out by about the third game of spring training.

Z really needs to start working low in the strike zone with that sinker. This nibbling crap has got to stop.

thats why i'm often frustrated with him. Hes always trying to nibble and get strikeouts. He needs to challenge hitters more freely with that moving fastball

This has been Lou's righty lineup all year I believe.

Floyd has started 5 games, Murton 4 games, and we've faced 1 lefty.
