Well, his '05 pre-All Star line was .275/.322, so he had an ISOD of 47 at that point. I suppose one of 60 isn't out of the question if (big word there) he has progressed as a hitter.

Theriot didnt exactly have a great game today either but no one is railing on him. DeRosa is going to put up similar if not better numbers than last year. He's been great everyone has good games and bad games. Im pretty happy with what Mark has been able to do so far.

I'd actually recommend holding the BandWGNs in the garage until the end of April for everyone outside Lee & ARam........and they're beyond BandWGNs now anyway.

Those projections are based on three year averages and are meaningless when considering breakout or injury plagued years. There wont be a modest regression. Either it was a fluke and there will significant regression, or it was a real breakout year, and he will continue to build.

 

The average of that is a moderate regression, and the average of the last three years is a moderate regression, so that's what projection go with.

when I drafted Mark, I got a lot of "good pick" (it was very late in the draft) comments in the chat. I knew that mark was in trouble, and Sunday was the first day that I played him :(
