Prediction?

Cesar Izturis will follow in the grand tradition of the Gremlin and Neifi and become this Bd's official Whuppin' Boy.

What is it about light hitting MIFers?

Things will *click*, players will not underperform under Piniella. And all of the coaching and player moves will drive the Cubs to a 90 win season and they will make it to the world series. . 8-)

you know you're on a cubs board when half the people have pick as the champion a team that hasn't won the world series for 100 years

I know what you mean, BUT this year I can really feel it! Cubs Swagger in full swing baby!

I know, its funny to see. Especially because I don't anywhere close to the optimism that people on this board have. I am trying so hard not to fall into the Spring time giddyness that happens every year because I don't want to be hurt again.

i'll wait for Laura's predictions contest in March

It should be up in the next week or so, as will be the HR Derby.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Ryan Howard will not be in the B-group this year.
