It's time to just scrap the whole Veterens Committee, or totally redo it. What is the point of an organization who never elect anyone? Nevermind that so many of them vote no to anyone for stupid reasons like "if they were Hall of Famers, they'd already be in".

The thing that's absolutely inexcusable about this is that if he dropped dead two weeks before the next Committee vote, he'd get in overwhelmingly. The whole HOF process just pisses me off. It's a joke that people like Santo and Jim Rice are not in and people like Bill Freakin' Mazeroski are in.
