I read a rumor on another message board that Leak only got an 8 on his wonderlic. Making him just a little bit smarter then a 6 year old

I saw some of the sample questions of the Wonderlic on foxsports.com. You would seriously have to be a complete idiot to not get at least a 90% on the Wonderlic.

A few people were making fun of it on an FSU message board earlier.

What's tragic (and yet funny), is that he answered 8 or 12 questions - not the entire test of 30 or so questions that everyone else took - but is being scored the same way.

I'm wondering why JaMarcus Russell didn't show up on the Wonderlic scores as well. Did he skip it, or is he taking it at the combine?

That idiot Mike North read some on his show last year when the Vince Young wonderlic rumors were swirling. North knew none of them because he has an IQ of 45.

Darius Walker ran a 4.57 40 (lower than projected) and pulled off a ridiculous 40.5-inch vertical leap. He probably cemented himself as a first-day pick and might even sneak into the 2nd round.

They were talking about Walker on NFL network earlier as someone who disappointed everyone, and probably slipped to day two of the draft. His vertical was good, but he didn't impress anyone in much else.

No chance.

Yeah, and Todd McShay mentioned a "fumbling problem", too. Of course, DW fumbled exactly nine times in three seasons at ND, and only lost six of them. I frequent a Notre Dame fan board and I'm surprised they haven't mentioned this yet - they'll usually post just about anything noteworthy said about an ND player in the media.

Also of note: Brady Quinn outbenched his left tackle, Ryan Harris, whose only job last year was, oh, protecting the guy's blind side. If any one thing can explain why Notre Dame should probably never have started the season ranked top 5 to begin with, that does.

But Ryan Harris was on MTV's Made!

No way a RB with a 4.6 goes in the second round, what are you thinking

Huh?

Ever heard of Ladell Betts?

There are countless other examples. In general, I think people misunderstand what kind of 40 times people run. 4.6 is acceptable for a RB.

Heck, Emmitt Smith ran in the 4.6s and was a first rounder.

Most of those guys were first round talents to begin with. Walker never was and running appreciably slower than most of the top tier running backs this weekend isn't going to improve his draft stock.

That's all well and good, but I was simply responding to his statement that a running back who runs a 4.6 wouldn't go in the second round.

I can't see Walker going in the second either, FWIW.

LaRon Landry ran a 4.35 40 and also impressed with his vertical jump. He's likely a solid top ten pick and will probably be the first safety chosen.

So much for my hope he'd fall to Dallas at 22.

Atlanta could use him at #10.

So could Green Bay at #16, but like Vance said, his stock is definitely rising now.

Someone's gotta go plant some drugs on Landry or something so he can fall to the Bears' pick. O:)

Why, so that the Bears can take Aaron Sears?

Wade Phillips already had codeine cough syrup Kiel in SD, so that won't be scaring the 'Boys off.

I keep looking at all the mock drafts hoping he somehow falls. But I don't think it's in the cards. :(

He's awesome. I want to compare him, but the closest I can think of is the standard - Ronnie Lott.

Reggie Nelson didn't run particularly fast so it's possible he could drop to the Bears.

I don't think so, sadly. Also, I think Landry is a better fit for the Bears (and, of course, a better player).
