It'll be fun to actually see Weatherford kick. I always said he was the best offensive force on the Fighting Illini.

On the other hand, I hear he was a total jackass.

As for the uniforms, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bright Orange shirts. But sadly, I don't think they'll use them.

Im sitting in class bored so i wanted to do a side by side comparison

Position Chi NO Advantage

QB Rex Brees NO

RB Jones/Benson Duce/Bush CHI

FB McKie Karney Push

WR Moose/Berrian/Davis Colston/DHend/Bush NO*

TE Clark Campbell/Miller CHI

LT Tait Brown NO

LG Brown Nesbit CHI

C Kruetz Faine CHI

RG Garza Evans CHI*

RT Miller Stinchcomb NO

I cant make a judgement right guard because I havent heard anything bad/good about Evans other than he is a rookie; so I gave the advantage to Garza because of that and because Garza has had a pretty good year.

McKie is a better reciever than Karney, and Karney has a reputation for being a solid blocker so I gave it a push.

Bush is divide as a running back and receiver. If I were to just put him as a running back, I would give NO the advantage because of his receiving, but then give the bears the advantage at wide receiver because of Horn's injury.

DT Tank Thomas NO

NT Scott Young CHI

RE Brown/Anderson Smith CHI

SLB Hillenmeyer Shanie CHI

MLB Urlacher M. Simoneau CHI

While interesting and all (and despite being purely subjective) it doesn't really mean much in terms of a football game.

Lets say we win every position battle by the skin of our teeth and are really poor at one position. Lets say we barely have a a better O-line and they have an absurdly good D-line. We'd probably be the worse team despite being slightly better in every category.

I think what ruins the Orange shirts are the white pants.

Heres something to ponder: Orange shirts and blue pants.

Didn't they do that for the Thanksgiving game against Dallas a few years back? I know it was the retro orange's, but I think they also wore the blue pants. Those unis were hideous.

I really don't care much for the Packer uniforms so I don't think I can comment on that.

The problem with the Orange shirt is that the Bear blue is so dark and the orange is too bright, it just looks better as piping. If the orange was darker it might work, but then we'd just be copying the Broncos.

Why'd you give place kicking to Gould? Carney has only missed 2 field goals all year and has a higher percentage this year than Gould. Don't get me wrong, I'm a great admirer of what Gould has done this year, but just want to know your rationale on that one.

Excellent point that I had forgotten. Yes, you were correct in giving it to Gould.

That was my rationale.... actually I had a huge problem with punter. I like weatherford alot and he had a very impressive year but maynard is one of the best punters in the NFL... But Maynard has been garbage in the playoffs.

The avatar monster ate my avatar of the hot Saints fan :-(

It's ok. She wasn't hot, she looked trashy, and not just the shirt. The girls in your sig are hot.

The girl in the "F the Eagles" shirt is the lead singer for a rock band at different bars in New Orleans. I've seen her a couple of times. She's more "punk" than trashy.

I'll trust you, but in the pic you had up, she was not attractive.

I think PR is even. Both Hester and Bush have the explosiveness to take one back anytime.

Hester is more likely to bring one back, but he is also more likely to muff one and turn it over.

You all are talking about the guy who set an NFL record for returns for td. Hester averaged 12.9 ypr to Bush's 7.7. Out of all the positions, you guys picked a bad one to argue.

Huh? I wasn't arguing that Hester wasn't as good (he's better), just more likely to turn the ball over on a return.

More likely they'll just kick away from him.
