I know a few of you have hoped for Landry dropping to the Bears, but I just don't see it happening (same for Florida's Reggie Nelson).

I think the Bears(considering their depth) are in a good position to trade up in this years draft.

However trading up isn't Angleo's style, so I don't see that happening.

it looks like Chicago is going to be near the rain snow line for this upcoming storm. i think this puts the bears in a advantage mainly because while seattle has played in bad weather this year, they have played in the weather on field turf and not natural grass

Perhaps if the Bears had actually played well in such conditions you'd have a point.

The Bears are the more talented team, and they are the faster team. Crappy weather is a disadvantage.

not like seattle has played well on a much better surface

I don't mind the cold, at all. It'll make the hard hits from teh defense hurt even more.

I don't, however, want any part of snow or rain. Bad conditions favor the less talented team. Plus, a soggy field will make it tough for our speed oriented defense.

I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that that storm will miss us.

But the bad surface levels the playing field for them. It makes the better team less likely to perform as well as it can.

i understand this but i think the bears have a advantage because we have 2 healthy backs where as alexander seems like he still is feeling pain. it also will limit the passing game

Looks like this idea was spawned from Pierson's article. I love the new ways that the media finds to insult this team.

yeah, bad weather is going to hide Seattle's most glaring weakness and make it a much more even game.

I'm hoping it's clear and calm.

Nice catch Banedon.

Actually let the national media continue to bash this team! This underdog attitude for an exceptionally talented and successful team can only help them

I'm fine with the Bears not being given a chance by the media. Make it bulletin board material. It did wonders for the Gators this past Monday.

Right now, the AFC is the darling of the media, so the Bears being in the NFC, plus playing in the conference's worst division, is going to make people write them off. They went 2-2 against the AFC this year. What people fail to write about is that the Bears went 3-1 against playoff teams this year, etc., etc.

I think Rex has more to do with the underestimation of the Bears than anything though.

ESPN's poll says the Bears are the most likely favorite to lose. It's interesting considering they are playing the worst underdog in the playoffs.

That's funny considering the Bears are the biggest favorites in the divisional playoffs by 3 points more than any other team. I guess that happens when people watch ESPN and listen to what Salisbury and Schlereth and all the other know nothing "analysts" say to degrade the Bears.

If anyone wants to spend $250 a piece for club box seats, there are a pair available on ticketmaster.com.

Mark Schlereth is the biggest [expletive] moron to ever hold a job in ESPN.

I honestly think some Bear defensive tackle rolled up his leg one year, because there is absolutely NO reason why he hates on the Bears so much.

I really think ESPN hates on the Bears so much because they are so angry at Rex Grossman for not becoming the anointed saviour they all predicted he was after the first 5 games this year. I mean...we still aren't a dissapointment and yet they are angry at us.

It really is absurd. 13-3 and they rip on us all the time. Top 3 in both points scored and points allowed.

The injury reports are up. McKie and Tillman are listed as questionable, but they are both expected to play. St. Clair and Alex Brown are listed as probable after being the only two to miss practice, although it was due to illness. Hopefully there's nothing going through the locker room.

For the Seahawks, Hackett and Trufant are listed as doubtful with ankle injuries and Jackson is listed as questionable.

No doubt that the Seahawks have been hurt by injuries far more than us. They are basically on reserve with their WR and DB corps. Hasselbeck may be fighting and injury and so may Alexander.

I'll watch Alexander closely though, he may be explode with something huge. Or...he might just be really injured and bad.

I'm just glad the media is finally being honest about why they hate the Bears. They need hyperbolic stories about against-all-odds comebacks or superhuman accomplishments in order to lead the week-to-week bandwagon regarding who the hot hand is at the time. Since the Bears don't provide any such stories, they choose to complain about it, rather than resort to something as dry and pointless as substantial analysis based on statistics and in-game events. Stories like these tell us way more about the media and what the general population looks for out of them than it tells us about the Bears or what to look for in the game Sunday morning.

Holy crap on a stick. I just bought 2 tickets near the 50, first row, in the 400 level off ticketmaster!

how the?

I've been checking throughout the evening, especially at work when I had nothing to do.

I came across two different pairs in the club boxes, but these were the first in the lower price ranges. Of course, tickets only came up like once every 30 attempts.

How is this game not sold out?
