I have asked before and people have given me links.....

But I am really gonna buy a Payton jersey now. Not looking for anything authentic, and I prefer the road jersey, but any link to a good place to buy jersey would be great.

For a Payton jersey, if you know someone in the Chicago area who would be willing to check out a Sears or two, that would be your best bet. They're the only place I've seen that sells Payton and Butkus replica Reebok jerseys that are not the EQT (nameplate and numbers sewn on) jerseys. They're just like other replica jerseys with the numbers and name screened on. They retail for $55. Home only, though.

I've never seen a road replica Payton jersey. At least not one that has been made in the past 5 years.

EDIT: And take a look at this list. Still wary of the authenticity of some of them, though.

Know anybody?

Well, the one near me was pretty much sold out the last time I looked (except for an XXL). But if you can get an EQT online for around the same price or a little more, it would probably be worth it. They do look nicer.

I was hoping the forecast would change, but no luck so far. Mid-to-upper 40s with a good chance of rain all day and night.

Giants win 34-28. Packers should be out by the time the early games are over (lions or vikes lose). For the Cheeseheads to have the game mean something, the following needs to occur:

Lions beat Dallas

Vikings beat Cards

Then all but one of the following:

Cards beat Chargers

Dolphins beat Colts

49rs beat Broncos

Saints beat Panthers

Browns beat Texans

Seahawks beat Bucaneers

Then they just have to beat the Bears

Have fun pondering retirement on New Years day Lord Farve

I hear Green Bay has this QB that likely isn't retiring tomorrow. I won't mention names now because we're sure to hear it plenty tomorrow.

Why exactly was this game picked up by NBC again?

If the Giants were available, they would have picked it up but it was on the NFL network. The rest of the NFC games weren't likely to have playoff ramifications. The AFC games are pretty much mismatches.

So they gambled hoping for a Giants loss. But they get Bears-Packers and the possibility of Farves farewell game.

Nope, Aaron Rodgers is giving up now, instead of waiting to not be Favre when Favre finally retires... whenever that is.

Penalties/Penalty Yardage:

Bears: 106/879

Bears Opponents: 129/1049

Number of games in which the Bears have been penalized for more yardage than their opponents: FOUR

Thank you, that is all.

Bears wearing navy jerseys with navy pants tonight. I hope they erase the memories of the last time they wore that combination.

The middle of the field has been re-sodded. The tarp is still on the field even though it's not raining, but the field should be pretty dry underneath.

I don't like when they change jersery/pant combos for primetime games.

They need to just stick with navy and white at home and white and navy on the road. But I'm guessing part of it is to get the intensity up even more.

Not that I think they need it.

He's probably going to dinner with Roger after the game to get a laugh out of how everyone makes a big deal out their umteenth last game.

Bah. Tillman is out tonight. As is Todd Johnson, it seems.

Crap. Now he's going to be rusty...and there's a chance he might not even play.

Nah. He'll be able to play, but being rusty worries me a bit.
