The stupid horse collar penalties is what I immediately thought of. I still can't believe they called those, when I've seen four or five times this year a horse collar not called on other teams, including mr. horse collar himself roy williams.

More crazy talk from Peter King in his picks this week:

If it's his last game, Brett Favre acquits himself well. As does Brian Griese, who has not only the fans but also his own mates wondering if he should be the postseason quarterback for these Bears.

Chicago 21, Green Bay 20

So this is how high school English teachers feel when they have to read the papers written by the high kid.

These so-called experts have no idea what is going on. They are clueless.

LOL, can't wait for King's exasperated report on Monday:

The Bears did the inexplicable Sunday, starting Grossman and continuing with him until the final quarter. Lovie, for all he's done this year, doesn't seem to understand that your starting playoff QB needs more than one quarter of work to be ready for the playoffs. The fans are outraged.

Peter King is a worthless fat slob. He is too busy buring his face in nacho's to pay attention to the action on the field.

Wait, what?

How has no reporter asked Lovie about this nonsense being reported nationally? Did we all just miss something? Was I watching my imaginary television Sunday?

There was an article referencing Turner's reaction to the national media's take on this issue.

This is incredible. I've never seen more unresearched claims in football than in this situation. Where are these morons getting their information? I think it's clear that none of these idiots watched the game or even remotely paid attention to it. If they had they would realize what's going on.

Did anyone hear the quotes by Ron Turner about how the national media is just completely oblivious to everything that's going on? It was on the score with Zack Zademan (sp) reporting how it's riduclous.

Do you know the link? I'd love to read it.

A growing national perception that the Bears pulled quarterback Rex Grossman in the fourth quarter against the Lions for Brian Griese because of ineffectiveness bothered offensive coordinator Ron Turner enough Wednesday to respond.

"I heard that and thought you'd have to be insane to think that," Turner said on WSCR-AM 670. "We had home-field advantage clinched and a backup who hadn't played in seven weeks and we might need him in the playoffs so we wanted to get him some quality reps."

LMAO.

Indeed. All I can do is laugh and say......indeed.

I don't understand why anyone would think that. Rex had a better than average game last week. He's been more than good enough to win a SuperBowl the last 3 weeks and most of the weeks this season.

The implication on the table is, it's because they're insane.

And the evidence is quite difficult to refute 8-)

Boone did not practice today with a minor toe injury. He'll be fine. McKie and Tillman didn't practice today, either, but they're both improving.

Ruben Brown was removed from the injury report. Tait and Joe were upgraded to probable.

Joe's been out for quite a while it seems...what kind of injury is he dealing with?

Hamstring. I think it was against New England.

Thanks.

I suppose I could have scrolled back and found the post that listed the injuries each player was out with, huh? Lack of sleep is making me a little slow today.

My fearless prediction..........

Green Bay 14
BEARS 28

Good for a 14 in your confidence pool.

How can the BEARS be only a 2.5 - 3.0 pt favorite at home ??

Go BEARS !!

Because they have nothing to play for while the Packers do.

Doesn't seem to matter to the "experts" that the Bears may not be playing their players, have nothing to play for, aren't showing all their plays and schemes, ect. If the Bears win in a close game, it'll be close because the Bears suck, not because the are doing any of the above.
