Im not an LSU fan I just hate ND so any chant that insults there team and fans is fine with me.

We went over this earlier in the year and people had ND as the 9th best team in the SEC. You're all as nuts as ND fans.

Clarifying, wasn't taking a shot at you with that, I was pretty sure you weren't an LSU guy, I just hate when student sections do that chant(U of I students have made me groan many a time with it)

Quinn didn't end things too well, maybe he'll fall to his favorite hometown team (Cleveland). He seems like a good kid, hope things work out for him.

I don't know how much you can really blame the defensive coordinator. These are a lot of slow, undersized defenders, there's only so much you can do as a coordinator if you don't have the talent. I'd say give him next year to see what kind of improvements can be made, especially since next year is seen as a rebuilding year.

While the SEC may be overated, I'm fairly certain ND would lose to Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennesee. Adding LSU, that places ND in the lower half of the SEC.

Yep losing by 27 to LSU definitvely shows that ND is worse than Kentucky, Alabama, and South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennesee.

While the SEC may be overated, I'm fairly certain ND would lose to Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennesee. Adding LSU, that places ND in the lower half of the SEC.

 

I'm definitely not certain that Tennesee beats ND, considering Penn St., ND's best win, just beat Tenesee; and I think ND/Arkansas would be a good matchup(And was who I was hoping for in a bowl) since Arkansas can't pass and ND can't defend the pass.

While ND might be able to beat Tennessee or Georgia I think it would be a close game that could go either way. Ranking them with the likes of Tennessee and Georgia is a pretty accurate comparison.

I know there's a lot of "what might have been" with this season, but we're in the midst of a bunch of 10+ win seasons, a national title, three Sugar Bowl wins in the 2000's, and a blowout over Miami last year. No sense complaining, might as well just soak in the good times while they're here.

 

The Saints are in the playoffs, too. If the Cubs make it, it'll be like bizarro land.

Notre Dame would be middle of the pack in the SEC depending on how the schedule played out and who they played at home and on the road.
