I'm looking forward to Louisville beating Wake Forest and then hearing all the Big East haters say "well, it was just Wake Forest and the ACC sucks this year".

Well this wont take long then will it, i say it BEFORE they win. The ACC does suck, Wake aint no great shakes and you know it. The ACC champ game was awful. Wake appears to have a very solid D, so if the 'ville can put some points up that will be a nice. Wake's offense is pretty average at best, and the QB doesnt strike any fear in anybody. If the 'ville can get a nice lead early they may run away with this one.

I know and it's a no win situation for Louisville and all the Big East teams for that matter. West Virginia gets stuck win Georgia Tech and Rutgers gets K-State. If they lose there is the "see, I told you they weren't any good" argument and if they win then there is the argument I stated above.

I'm willing to take ND(+32) from anyone who's offering.

no one is getting real excited about the National Championship game, and I'm not too surprised.

While its a justified match up, not that explosive or anything. Ohio State will probably win comfortably, but not in a blow out. Bleh.

Go Buckeyes.

The USC Trojans have done something defenders have been unable to do in Reggie Bush's rookie year — they've stunned him dead in his tracks.

The Saints running back and former Heisman Trophy winner told FOX NFL Sunday and FOXSports.com that USC officials have asked that he not show up on the sidelines for the Trojans' Rose Bowl matchup against the Michigan on New Year's Day.

Bush called the athletic department Friday to get his credentials for the game, but was told it would be better if he didn't attend the game.

"It's ridiculous," said Bush. "I guess I won't be going."

Bush said he believed all the negative stories that surfaced earlier this year regarding alleged financial impropriates caused them to put forth such a request and he's obviously not happy about it. Thus, Bush is making no plans to show up — despite winning the Heisman for the university a year ago and helping lead them to the national championship game two years in a row.

USC is likely trying to distance itself from Bush after a man named Michael Michaels alleged that he allowed Bush's parents to move into a $757,000, 3,000-square-foot home he owned in Spring Valley, a San Diego suburb. According to Michaels, Bush's parents failed to pay any of the agreed upon $4,500 monthly rent on the property before Michaels evicted the family. Michaels also alleged that he paid for Bush's family to travel to some USC road games during the 2005 season.

However, Michaels also promised that he would have corroborating evidence to these claims and much more yet to this day nothing has been proven.

More class by USC. You recruited the guy, you deal with the consequences.

If WVU beats Georgia Tech I'll give them their due. The Tech D is stout, so especially if WVU racks up the points, I'll give them even more credit.

Rutgers on the other hand, bright as their future is, I can't give them credit for beating KState. It's simply not that impressive. If they do next year what they did this year, it'll mean much more than one game against KState.

Unfortunately, Steve Slaton is questionable for the Gator Bowl.

Saw that earlier today, it's unfortunate. Maybe Pat White will take the opportunity to try to prove he can actually win a game throwing the ball a little. Or they could just run the option with Owen Schmitt, he's not Slaton but he's decent.

Thank Jebus the Rose Bowl is on ABC. At least one game will have decent announcers (stupid FOX)...

Musberger? :?

Musberger? :?

I think Musberger is pretty good. I actually really liked the Musberger, Davie and Herbstriet trio quite a bit. I know they arent as smart and perfect like most of us, but they call an entertaining game while still focusing on the game. I know this is going to catch some flack but Herbstreit and Davie both add intelegent commentary. I know some will show examples of not so smart commentary they add, but for the whole package I think this trio is pretty good. Quite abit better than a real old Summerall and Baldwinger.
