They've had a supbar game and a terrible 4th quarter.

Right by holding the pats to 17 points they stunk it up.

 

Yes, they did and I didn't say stunk it up (you added glitz for effect), but it was subpar for them. NE was careless with the ball, not as bad as the Bears but pretty close. They allowed too many yards and when the game tied, got manhandled when NE drove it down their throats.

Yeah, I would have to agree. Let the Griese talk begin. If Rex sucks again against the Vikings, Lovie's going to have to make a decision.

 

It's been weeks now since Rex had a real good game.

Problem is that I really don't think Griese will be an improvement.

Y'know, I thought about it, but NE was turning the ball over so much I thought that pulling that out might cause a reverse jinx. I'm saving it for truly special occasions. :D

I was very impressed by what Rex has done this year, but it's time to make a change. This team is too good to be screwed over by him turning the ball over 3+ times. Thing is, I don't see Griese making us that much better. He'll probably turn the ball over a lot less, but I wonder how conservative they would be with him under center, I can't recall how good he is at throwing the deep ball. Any way, I think we're pretty much screwed at the QB position, like usual.
