DePaul got SKUNKED :wall:

Bradley 13-25 from 3. That's the thing about that shot, if it falls you have a good chance of winning.

I think I'll like your Big East talk much more during basketball season.

At least the Good Old Boys don't decide who gets to play for the championship in basketball.

Regarding ND in the Big East, I want them out if they don't play at least 2 BE teams in football and I've been on record saying how much I dispise this 16 team thing even though I'd like to know how the other confernces feel about it since they have 3 to 4 more teams in football. They can't cry about it in basketball and be happy about it in football.

Well, you'll be glad to know that Kevin White has already made public that ND is committing to play three Big East teams in football each season. Of course, it'll be a few years before they can start that because their schedules are made so far in advance, but they will be doing it.

I remember him saying that before and I was hoping he'd stick with it. I'm thrilled that this is going to happen because I just get annoyed at this 16 team basketball thing.

10th ranked Arizona was upset by Virginia last night, 93-90.

Isn't Arizona always ranked high early....lose a bunch of games early in the season and then get hot and have high expectations in the NCAA's and lose early again?

Wow, Virginia's not even supposed to be decent, let alone good.

ND loses to Butler 71-69. Well, it took four days for my enthusiasm to crap out. That was fun.

So IU is likely to play Butler tomorrow night? That should be an interesting game-did Butler do like usual and throw up 3's all game long? They have had some great shooters over the year. Indiana playing Butler is a lose-lose though-either Indiana loses (which helps Butler immensely but obviously doesn't help Indiana) or IU beats Butler, which means Butler can't get a statement win to help their resume and they are seen as terrible. Oh well-if IU can win the next two nights they'll get a chance or two to make a statement in the Garden next week-work hard, and get it done Hoosiers!

PSU now 2-0 with win over UNC-Greensboro. Cornley, last year's Big 10 Freshmen of the Year, went 23 and 11 for the game. Stony Brook up next (yes, they have an asstastic non-con)

And IU goes away late to win 91-66. White, Ratliff and Allen (3 of the top 6 projected players) played about a combined 20 minutes with 4 fouls each. Seniors Wilmont and Calloway led the way with 24 and 22 respectively and shot excellently from the field. Pretty solid contribution from everybody. Mike White was huge with 10 in the first half with DJ out early.

All I know is that if that officiating crew ever officiated a Big 10 game, they would have fouled everybody out by halftime. I've never seen a game called tighter then that-every time somebody went to post up, it was immediate offensive foul.

I knew Wilmont was going to be like that (although he is not going to shoot that well every night), Calloway was what I hoped for, Stemler and M. White looked good. Overall, a solid game-tomorrow's game is very important, because IU could really use the extra 2 games that going to New York gets.

Iowa looked a little better than expected tonight, beating The Citadel 75-53. They'll still be playing without Henderson until at least December with a broken finger. Tyler Smith was in foul trouble all night and was really forcing things.

Haluska had 29 points (6-14 from 3), 6 assists and 5 boards. Tony Freeman had 7 points, 11 assists and 6 boards. Kurt Looby had 14 boards and 3 blocks and Cyrus Tate had 13 off the bench.

They start play in the Paradise Jam on Friday with Toledo who returns 5 starters from a 20 win MAC team. If they win they play #12 Alabama on Sunday.

any of you hawk fans go to the game? I heard for a Hawk fan on the iB there were only about 400 fans. That can't be right, can it?
