Any chance Holy Cross comes within 15 of Duke tonight?

 

That game isn't even on sportsbook.com to be wagered upon. That's how bad it's going to be.

 

I actually don't think it will be a total slaughter. HC does have good defense and decent inside play, and Duke's offense has been struggling so far this year. I'm not saying HC will win or even have a chance tonight, but I do think the fact that both teams have better defense than offense will hold the score down and keep the game from being a 40 point romp.

Honestly, how do they get away with this stuff? I saw Holy Cross called for a 5 second call when Paulus was 5 feet away from the guy, and I saw a basket get taken away for interference when a Duke guy tipped it. It's obscene.

It's so frustrating that Duke gets this crap. It's not enough to have the best recruits and the home court advantage, do they really need help from the refs to beat a Patriot League team?

well it was nice to see HC on TV, and fun to watch them lead for more than half the game. I hope they never go back to Durham, though. It's obvious that an inferior non-conference opponent will not get a fair chance there.

65-41 and it wasn't even that close. The Dawgs are legit. I was there. Hinkle's quite a place. BSU has a lot of growing up left to do.

 

ND played them better than anyone else has so far, BTW. Tomorrow the Irish host 4th-ranked Alabama. A win would be unreal.
