I just saw Joakim Noah's incident with the Vandy coach from Saturday and I have to say, Noah didn't do anything wrong there. The Vandy coach had no reason to hang on to the ball there.

Noah existed.

The ref has to handle the ball first, so no matter who's holding it there's no reason for Noah to flip out and try to get it back. Then there's the matter of it being the opposing coach with the ball, which anyone with a modicum of common sense knows you don't instigate anything with during the game.

PS- I thought I already made this post, but apparently I didn't. So if you see something similar in a Soriano thread or something, there you go.

The coach didn't have to slap Noah's arms away and that's when Noah flipped out. There was no reason for the coach to do that.

As a Wisconsin fan, I'm not really expecting to win. It should be a great game. Hopefully they can go right after Oden and get him into foul trouble.

Hope that happens! The key will be stopping OSU from the outside. They shoot so many 3's, and when they are on, they are just hard to beat. You're not going to stop Oden, but I really liked how the Badgers matched up to him last time. I also haven't been impressed with OSU at home.

The only way K-State is gonna get a shot in the NCAA is win out, and get deep into the Big XII tourny. Other than that, it's more of a NIT team, which K-State may be primed for next year's NCAA Tournament.

And yes, I feel very dirty having just rooted for Kansas.

Self looks like he's gained some weight, and his toupee line is receding. So at least there's that.

Win 2 of the final 3 and one win in the Big 12 Tourney we're in, no doubt. 2-3 gets us fourth in the Big 12 and a Big 12 first round bye.

I'm not sure I'd say no doubt. That still leaves nothing but wins over other bubble teams and losses to 4 teams who are no doubt not tourney teams.

The loss to Nebraska may come back and bite K-State in the you-know-where.

That was the game K-State should've won.

I don't disagree, but I'd think a win at Stillwater would do it. I think we're good enough to win there.

it's not good when even your toupee is receding.

The ESPN guy had Kansas St as the 7th team "left out", and this was before their loss to Kansas. They need a strong finish -- more than wins over an atrocious Colorado team, and a home win over mediocre Oklahoma, and then another Big XII tourney win over a mediocre opponent.

Huge game for Depaul. If they beat ND tonight that will greatly improve their chances for the tourny.

Yeah this is a big one for you guys and they're all huge from here.

ND should immediately fire Mike Brey if he doesn't show the last 25 or so seconds of the Feb. 8th game on loop all day today to his team.

Since the Irish have only two true road wins this year, it's imperative they stay unbeaten at home and get to 10 Big East wins. This is their 3rd game in 6 days, though, so I'm a little worried.

this was after a made basket, right? i didnt realize the refs handle every basketball before the inbound in this situation. i just thought the other team grabbed it and went. which makes me think the coach was being an ass, not noah this time. its delaying the inbound pass, and slowing the game.

I'm pretty sure it was a loose ball out of bounds.

That's one guy... I don't see how we will be left out with a 4th place finish in the Big 12. Only one Big 12 team has ever been left out with 10 wins, and that was colorado, but they only won 18 games that year. If we win 2 more, we'll have 10 wins and 21 on the season. Win a game in the Big 12 tourney, and that puts us at 11 wins in the conference and 22 wins overall. No way we'd be left out.

Big game tonight as Texas Tech heads to Texas.

Hopefully this time they have a plan to slow down Durant.

Go Texas!

Sorry, but I'll have to root against Tech and Okie Light from now on...
