A half-way mediocre effort and they'd have a decent shot at this game.

But instead they're playing like crap.

A half-way mediocre effort by Illinois and they win by 25.

they're just not any good. as i said, DMAC and watkins should be starting next year. with smith probably gone and frazier not worthy of a scholarship, they probably will.

Any team should be able to win by plenty when the opposition shoots 15 for 50 and 5 of 23 from beyond the arc with just 3 FTAs.

I'd be surprised if DMac starts over Frazier as a Jr. Chet reminds me of a not-as-promising version of Dee, before Dee learned how to shoot. He's the heart and hustle of the team but oh my is his offensive prowess lacking.

NU is not good. I've never seen so many bricked threes by one team. That said, good to get the win after the tough week.

that's an understatement. but we'll see, i hope for our sakes that DMAC and watkins are good enough to start their freshmen years.

if ASU doesn't win in the Pac-10 this year, they'll be the first ever Pac-10 team to not win a conference game

USC blew a 9-point second half lead against ASU and lost, dropping USC to third in the Pac-10 and giving the Sun Devils their first conference victory of the season.

That loss sucks. USC dropped to 60 in the RPI, there goes a quality win for KSU.

Wisconsin is #1 in the AP poll.

That's how it should be. Wisconsin beat OSU in their only matchup and have one less loss. The coaches have Ohio State at the top followed by Wisconsin. They're followed by Florida, UCLA, and UNC in both polls.

Honestly, I wouldn't have been upset or surprised if OSU was first in both polls. Most of the poll stuff is just a product of who lost last.

ND is back in the coaches' poll at 23rd and is receiving votes again in the AP poll. DePaul tomorrow night and Marquette Saturday afternoon, both at home where ND is 16-0 on the year. If we're still unbeaten at home on Sunday morning I'll be very grateful (and ND will have their tourney bid all but sewn up).

Yeah, I realize that. And going back to think about it, using my logic from before, I would put Florida at #2 ahead of OSU. I'm really looking forward to the OSU-Wisconsin game this Sunday. Should be very good.

Big one tomorrow. ND is trying to not lose their tourney spot, and DePaul is trying to play it's way into one. The Drive to 65 section on ESPN is finally back to including DePaul as a team with work left to do. So they are now probably at the bottom of the list of bubble teams, and pretty much cannot lose anymore.

As a Wisconsin fan, I'm not really expecting to win. It should be a great game. Hopefully they can go right after Oden and get him into foul trouble.

I just saw Joakim Noah's incident with the Vandy coach from Saturday and I have to say, Noah didn't do anything wrong there. The Vandy coach had no reason to hang on to the ball there.

Drive to 65 still has them as a lock, but I've got to push Creighton back to the bubble after losing at home to Drexel. They can't slip up in their last 2 games or take a 1st round exit in the Valley tourney. Should the Valley get a 3rd bid, I'm guessing it'll come down to the conference tourney, cause Bradley's been the hotter team down the stretch and has the better computer numbers, but Missouri St. swept them in the regular season.

Noah existed.
