IIRC, Weber phrased it as get himself together physically, mentally, emotionally, and academically, sort of vaguely inferring that it shook him up inside, but I'm quite sure he's got some legal trouble coming his way. Driving that mess of a car a mile back to his apartment afterwards is just a horrible sign.

UCLA sweeps Arizona for the second straight season, winning 81-66 at McKale. Darren Collison with a career high 15 assists, one short of Earl Watson's UCLA record. Josh Shipp tied his career high with 24 points (it's great to see him have a huge game). Arron Afflalo came up a little gimpy after stupid Mustafa Shakur clipped and took out Arron's legs going for a loose ball late in the game. Arron better be ok. :?

i'd frankly be surprised if it isn't. he's a kid, he probably did something stupid but will end up paying for it for the rest of his life. that totally sucks.

 

another interesting detail was the make and model of car that smith was driving. i wonder if his parents have that much money.

Missouri wins 75-64! What a huge win for this team. Realistically, they could and should win 3 of their last 4, which would make them .500 in the conference, which just makes close losses to Iowa State, Kansas, Nebraska, and Kansas State twice even more frustrating.
