Brian Carlwell is in critical condition after being a passenger in a car that Jamar Smith was driving.

Jamaal Tatum hit a 3 with a minute left giving SIU the lead for good as the Salukis pulled out a 51-47 win over Missouri State on the road. Not a pretty game by any stretch, but this, to me, was probably our most impressive win of the season. Tatum and Falker (20 and 12) were huge tonight.

 

Butler next on Saturday. A win against the Bulldogs, and we could potentially be right outside the top 10.

Ball State beats NIU 57-55 in front of an announced crowd of 475 (blizzard). Anthony Newell with a career-high 21 points.

that loss could hurt k-state. Nebraska?

NIU has one awful team.

 

The sad thing is that's paid attendance. One of my friend's who went to the game said that there was lucky to be 250 there. Even if there wasn't a snowstorm, they'd have been lucky to draw 1000.

Barring another upset loss, they're still on track for 10 conference wins in all likelihood. Unless they get bounced in the B12 tourney or mess up the ISU, Colorado, or Oklahoma games(possible, but also possible for them to beat KU or OSU) they should be in decent shape.

 

EDIT: I can't believe Maric went for 40 on KSU.

I'm expecting down 3, Baylor heaves a 3/4 court shot at the buzzer, drains it, and somehow gets a phantom foul call, hits the free throw and wins.

 

I won't be there though, I have two tests and a speech on Thursday.

Yeah I won't be going either. Got a big test on Thursday. Hopefully Mizzou can somehow get six wins in conference. Not that it would mean anything but it would be nice.

Penn State very nearly pulls off the upset on Ohio State as PSU misses a shot at the buzzer which would've won it.

 

PSU was down 40-19 at half and ended up only losing 64-62.

Ohio State has shown a tendency to do this-remember the Michigan State game that they came back in the second half? That could really hurt the Buckeyes if they don't get it fixed before the tournament.

Clemson endangering their at large with a loss at Wake.

 

Arkansas in bubble trouble getting killed by 20 at Mississippi St.

 

Bama blows a big early lead and is probably going to lose to Florida. The SEC West BLOWS.

 

I called Wichita dead after their last loss. Now they lost at Drake.

 

EDIT: Ole Miss comes back to beat LSU and is still alive for a tourney bid.
