Bulls win, some good news on a frustrating night.

Two games of the last seven (going back to the playoffs) for the Bulls that someone has tackled one of our best players.

Nocioni called fair catch by Armstrong decided to take him down hard, instead. He was then tossed after arguing about it...

 

I can't recall the Bulls looking quite this sloppy on offense last season, including under the basket, but they needed this one.

This team blows. Skiles refuses to try anything else on offense when this entire lineup on the floor couldn't score if you tripled the size of the basket. Sweetney? Khryapa? Thomas? Sef?

 

No we have to stick with this entire crap team full of crap jump shooters. Oh wait thats the entire team, just stupid crap jump shooters. Good thing we got that great postup player in the offseason....oh wait we didn't we threw $15 million at some crappy offensive player who seems to have little effect on the interior defense right now.

They're gonna have to do something. This team is not playing with the urgency they played with at the end of last year when they were so good. I know it's early, but this is frustrating. Even more frustrating is it doesn't seem Gordon has progressed at all since his rookie year. By the way, I really, really dislike Nowitzki. One of the dirtiest/ biggest pansies in the league.

I'm neither surprised nor frustrated. They finished November 7-6 last year, 1-10 the year before. If they can avoid a long losing streak during the first couple of months of the season, I think they'll be in solid shape for a run come playoff time.

This is true, but this team has been extremely inconsistant this year. Our strength is supposed to be our defense. Well in 3 of the 4 losses that we have, the opponent has scored close to 110 points in all 3 of those games.

 

It's not a coincidence that Big Ben's worst games were in those 3 losses. If Big Ben doesn't perform, our defense isn't that good. I don't know why considering our D was still tops in the league last year and near the top two years ago. Maybe a confidence factor, or lack thereof on our team? I don't know what the problem is right now, but I'm sure Skiles will fix this.

I can't really go into much in depth analysis on the Bulls since I haven't gotten to watch much, but they obviously aren't going to play with much urgency 7 games in. it seems the last couple of years they've stumbled early and then turning it up mid to late in the year.
