This is true, but this team has been extremely inconsistant this year.

You don't remember last year's team being extremely inconsistent in November? The 2004-2005 team was consistently bad at least.

There are eight new players on this team, including two rookies whom I expect to be solid contributors by season's end, and the team's November schedule is brutal. Maybe I'm the only one who wasn't expecting the Bulls to win on the road in Dallas when the schedule was released.

Finishing the month at 7-7, 6-8, and making up some ground in December is my hope. This team needs some time to gel.

I agree. It's just frustrating to watch them play so great at times and so horrible at other times. I think the lack of consistency stems from not having an inside prescence offensively nor a player who can drive to the hoop and draw fouls consistently. Because they lack both of these things, it gets tough to score at times. If the jumpers aren't falling, they're dead. I'm not going to say we need to make a trade already, but it may be necessary if we want to go deep into the playoffs.

Yep I remember last November, but all of our games were close. We didn't have any blowout wins, and we weren't blown out of the building as well. All of our games seemed to come down to the final 2 minutes, and we nearly split those games.

This year, nearly all of our games have been either blowout wins or blowout losses, save the Kings and Pacers games. And in those two games, Wallace had his best games of the year. Maybe I'm looking too hard into it, but bottom line is this: if Wallace can play a good game, we have a great chance of winning. If he doesn't show up, the team as a whole doesn't show up. Small sample size seeing we're only 7 games into the season, but hopefully it doesn't turn into a pattern we see all season long.

Obviously the lack of an inside scorer is a concern, but there are at least 10 points per game they are losing by pulling up for stupid jump shots in transition instead of just passing it down low.

Part of the problem is their execution as well. I hope this will improve.

Where's the Nocioni that was becoming a star at the end of last year? Where the heck is Ben G?

The MVP of this team right now is Deng.

Deng is coming into his own, and it's nice to see. He has greater potential than anyone on our team, maybe with the exception of Tyrus.

Really though, I'm not worried about Nocioni and Gordon. Look at their first two years; they are both notoriously slow starters. I remember how frustrated I was with Noc after the first couple of games last year and Gordon as well. They'll get it figured out.

A good step in the right direction would be a win against suddenly hot Houston tomorrow night. If we can beat Houston, I think we'll probably finish this road trip 4-3 which would be good enough for me.

It's a long season and they haven't done well early in the season before - now they have more new guys and rookies, it should be expected that they'll start slow. They aren't in the East's elite.

I'm not sure anybody is in the Elite in the East right now-it should be pretty wide open.

i haven't seen anyone liken his game to scottie's, but to me, it looks like he could be a bigger, stronger version in the future. the guy looks pretty amazing.

Scottie was pretty strong and he can't get taller than Scottie unless he isn't done growing. I don't think he is quite as athletic as Scottie either.

i never said "taller", i said "bigger", and i'd say that he's bigger right now.

This team blows....

Damn Kobe, I want a PS3!

I know!

And Charles immediately follows that up by making a comment about "women can't be considered great jocks" that I'm sure will be skewered tomorrow.

This is ridiculous. No team speed whatsoever.
