A'S A'S A'S A'S

A's win World Series. Jim Hendry says "See, that O-B-T or whatever it's called isn't important afterall. They won the series with clutch hitting."

If the tigers make the WS I will definantly watch, I dont really find the A's all that entertaining. I usually dont watch the playoffs/world series as the Cubs arent usually in it and I have no real interest in the teams participating other than rooting for whoever is playing the Yankees and Cardinals. The Tigers are a real underdog type of team Id like to see succede though.

tigers or the a's in the world series? helloooooooo ratings!

With the Yankees out, the World Series just gained another viewer.

Now we just have to put up with all those "What's wrong with the Yankees?" and "How to fix the Yankees" stories.

Actually, I'm quite looking forward to the rants Steinbrenner will be tossing out left and right.

Ill say it once and say it again..its all about good pitching...whats a lineup like the Yankees good for when your going against the best pitching staff in the majors...Nothing... Goodbye Torre

Exactly. If they are gonna spend all that money, get 4 #1 starters.

You can assemble the best offensive lineup in baseball, but on any given night they can get shut down by good pitching, its that simple.

I don't think they realize that if they had 4 #1 starters they would easily win the WS most years.

The Carl Pavano disaster just killed them.

Between him and Beckett is any team going to trust the next veteran starter Florida looks to unload(ie Dontrelle?)

Speaking of which, has AJ Burnett's arm fallen off yet?
