WOO!!! TD SC! 14-10 Auburn with :46 left in the half.

Newton looked significantly better as the half went on. Auburn's defense really looked weak out there, not sure how much is them overlooking USC and how much is the [expletive] getting better.

Kenny Irons looking pretty good against an iffy defense, I want to see him do big things against big teams consistently.

BYU ended TCU's winning streak tonight.

Who has the longest streak now?

Hmm...it looks like Boise State has the best chance now of grabbing that minor conference bid. They have 3-4 moderately difficult games left, but if they run the table they will be in the BCS now that TCU is gone from in front of them.

I was just looking up Nebraska's schedule and was reminded that they no longer play OK every year. I used to enjoy those games.

I'm happy that Cincinnati doesn't have to play a top team like Ohio State and VTech this weekend. That was as tough of a bak to back as any in the country and they played them pretty tough too.

Go Cuse and beat those Cowboys from Wyoming!

I think last night proved that Steve Spurrier is one of the best coaches in college football. Auburn had a substantial talent advantage over us and we were a dropped pass away from tying the game. Give Auburn credit for blitzing Newton late and for making the plays on Rice. I don't believe in moral victories, but the effort of our team bodes well for the rest of the season.

...why didn't Newton start the season at QB for SC? He's not bad...Auburn would have accrued a tremendous amount of sacks against a QB with less mobility.

I watched part of the replay on ESPN last night when I got off of work and I couldn't believe that Auburn literally had the ball for the whole third quarter. But even with that South Carolina had a chance to win that game. South Carolina definately had a chance to get that game to overtime and I have to admit that I thought they would lose by 3 touchdowns. If there ever was a moral victory, this was it.

The Daily News confirms that Davis will start Saturday. I'm not sure what our coach is doing, but I'm intrigued.

The thought was that the offensive line was going to be better than it was. Mitchell was good enough for us to win against Miss. St. After the Georgia debacle Spurrier realized that the O-line was terrible and mobility was paramount. Newton has been very impressive with his arm as well. He's a great kid who LOVES when the lights come on. I am encouraged going forward.

This game in IC is going to be epic. The crowd will be insane. I think Kirk has been holding back the first 4 games. Did anyone see how many fans were at the Friday Afternoon taping of the game day segment. That's a lot of people. Just imagine what Gameday will be like. Now imagine the actual game. I am so pumped. I'll be leaving for that game shortly so I need to remember to pace myself.

Rutgers certainly got a scare last night. A dropped 2 point conversion from going into OT. Review booth also got the onside kick call right but it was close.

LOL at Mississippi State!

LSU is on pace to put up about 112 points on MSU. Tigers are leading MSU by 28-0 with 14 minutes left in the 2nd.

Edit for the "Massacre at Death Valley":

35-0 LSU. 12 minutes left in the 2nd.

35-0 Wisconsin up on IU close to halftime. Call it Smackdown Saturday. Hopefully the Irish can do their part to add to it.

I always want LSU to win in solid fashion, but I really hate when they play teams that can't match up at all.
