Jeff Weaver would not be that bad of a pickup for the Cubs. He pitches alot of innings and will make his starts every year. He reminds me of a Matt Clement.

I recall Weaver and his buddy Boras turned down multi year contracts for this one year contract he signed this year. Wonder if he thinks what he did was the right thing anymore.
