Baker should be fired like Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins. Hendry goes up to him, removes his hat, punches a hole in it, puts it back on his head. He then rips the carnation from his lapel and turns his umbrella inside out.

Yeah I was at the April 30th game, i was pretty excited because Z was pitching and to this day I have yet to see a Cubs win in person, and whatdoya know, Cy Capuano pitched a gem, my streak will likely continue as I have tix to a Mets game later this year.

Great stuff guys. I think this board is the only thing that is exciting about the cubs this season. Coming on here during games and after to see what everyone comes up with is always a great time.

This will be Dusty Bakers final series in Chicago.

You think they fire him before the White Sox series? With no offday in between?

That'd be awesome.

Maybe they'll fire him mid-game.

Right in the middle of the field preferably. Like when he is out making a pitching change. Hendry should walk out to the mound, take dusty's hat off, and make him walk out of the park. Through the stands so everyone can throw their beer on him and laugh at him.

Right when Dusty is about to exercise a double switch.

Close, but I see Dusty trying to pull a rare "Triple Switch" in which he sub Mabry, Perez, and Blanco in for Lee, Murton, and the pitcher. Cause dude, why do we need Lee, when we have hot-hitting Blanco on the team. ends sarcasm.

The excitement for tonights game seems to have vanished as no lineups are posted. Guess I will go root for Oregon St to win the college WS and not have to see Roy Williams cheering in the stands.

...and once again Nefei gets the start over Walker. He must have some good dirt on Baker to continue to start. I would hope that the reason he continues to play has that sort of reasoning behind it.

Walker is getting benched for his bad play yesterday on that ball up the middle.

Nevin gets rewarded by going to leftfield.

Neifi starts because he saved us.

Dusty bats Neifi 2nd in the order for the fans. A refill on your beer with one out in the bottom half of the first inning seems just about right.
