Where is the guy that predicted that Capauno would not throw a CG shutout?

It looks like he is going to give it a try with only 116 pitches thru 8 innings! I don't care for this move at all with a 6 run lead! Unfortunately, I am not paid to manage or think!

That was me...

How was I supposed to know we'd make a pitcher throw 126 pitches...Fred...has that happened yet this year?

Previous high by an opposing pitcher was 121 (don't know who) for San Diego in a 1-0 victory over the CUBS on Fri 05 May 2006.

I surely hope I can find the needed bags for tomorrow night.

How many losing streaks of 4 games or longer have we had this year?

Tonight was the 5th time this year we've lost our 4th consecutive game.

That's pitiful. It's the extended losing streaks over the last two seasons that seem to be the greatest evidence that Baker should go.

I really enjoyed the guy with the Fire Dusty sign behind home plate at the end there.

i tried to screencap it, but it didn't turn out

Thanks for the info...its always appreciated...and really...predicting the Cubs wouldn't score wasn't really that big of a deal...now if someone could predict when they WILL Score...now that would be amazing.

i'm beginning to think that Dusty won't be our problem for much longer. I was at a point where I wouldn't have been surprised to see him extended, thankfully that feeling is leaving.

Baker's excuse for the night:

"The Brewers turned too many DPs tonight."

You are the winner! Here's Dusty's quote in the Tribune this morning...

"That famous double-play ball hurt us, and then we couldn't keep them in the ballpark," manager Dusty Baker said.
