Ponson completes the arc of absurd Cardinal success by beating Marshall two months after the Cubs accidentally won in this pitching matchup.

It will be 75°F with a 50% chance of thunderstorms at game time.

CUBS are 2-9 when the temperature is 75 or above.

Go CUBS !!

that can't be right! dusty said the team plays better when the weather heats up!

Do you believe everything Dusty says ??

Where did I put that deed to that bridge in Brooklyn ??

welp my self imposed ban from these game threads cuz i didnt wanna jinx the cubs on their torrid pace...but please at least beat the crap outta the cardinals

Marshall needs to start pitching better on the road. In the mean time Nevin will probably start at 1b tomarrow and Walker will be moved to 2b. Prediction: Cubs win 5-4

Doesn't really matter who they throw out there, success abounds, Rusch would probably be remotely effective as a Cardinal. I know the old story of its not luck, its the Coaching, but, when is this nonsense of every washed up reject journey man instantly turning into an All Star as soon as he dons a Cardinal uniform going to stop?

I was just talking about this with my buddy. No matter who they plug in they instanly become allstars. It's amazing.

I'm a Cards fan and couldn't agree more with you guys. It does seem that a lot of players have great years when they play for the Cards. But, this year, as not with years past, it looks like injuries are going to play a part on how they succeed. Carp and Edmonds are now on the DL. One thing that did work for your team is Jacque Jones. Although he hasn't been great, he's been 10-fold better than Yawn Enc.

So has my grandfather, and he's been dead for 9 months.

Cubs win, 33-2
