Well, if you care (i dont) the cubs are playing the braves. Ryu will make his first career start (sporting a 9.00 era, btw) while smotltz will make his eighty thousandth career start (3.12 ERA).

I absolutely guarantee Neifi, Blanco, Womack, and Bynum are in one lineup tomorrow.

Gotta shake things up, dude

Those guys can't do any worse than the players we have been sending out for the last month.

I'll watch at least the beginning of this game cause i wanna see Ryu pitch...it will be interesting to see if hes gonna turn into another bust like most cubs minor league pitchers have seemed to do or if he can have a decent future. Plus the way the Cubs are finding ways to lose has become somewhat entertaining...I was looking forward to a Zambrano no hitter the other day but still losing cause of that first inning.

My only prediction is that today's game thread will only be slightly longer than ystdy's.

The interest in this team is declining rapidly.

That being said.....Go Cubs !

Woohoo! I have the kid's end of the year soccer party at 1; so not watching. The soccer team was more successful anyway...

Isn't this one of the signs of the Apocalypse?

I'm laid up with a foot injury, so I'll be watching this ghastly spectacle.

Theres something strange in seeing a complete stud pitcher like Smoltz up against some newbie the Cubs are trotting out in hopes of winning the lottery.

Its strange and sad.

Don't say that, you and I both know that they can, and will.
