Worthless comment of the day: The Cubs are about to get swept by the third worst team in baseball.

Sad thing is they are second.

Posted

Knowing these idiots, now that I want them to lose, they'll win in spectacular fashion, like they did against the Sox.

So with that in mind...SURELY THE CUBS WILL CRUSH THE MARLINS! GO FORTH, MIGHTY WARRIORS! TO VICTORY!

This team is completely lost at the plate and i mean completely lost. I have no idea what Hendry is waiting for? Fire Clines NOW. His approach of swinging at first pitches and pitches in the dirt dosent freaking work. So Hendry im begging you to make a change FIRE CLINES NOW.
Posted
No kidding. Hendry, show some stones and at least gives Clines, Sarge and Rothschild the boot, or at least ONE of them, if you're gonna be a total [expletive] and keep Dusty on.

Speaking of Rothschild is he still on the coaching staff? Because these cub pitchers seem to struggle with mechanics all the time and never seem to fix them. Prime example Kerry Glass. His mechanics have been awful the past couple of years, and if your a pitching coach your JOB is to fix them. Give me a break Rothschild.

Posted
and Sarge what the hell do you do? Sit in the dugout and read baseball for dummies? This whole coaching staff does not give any advice or at least it dosent seem like it.

R.I.P. CUBS !!

Posted
I look forward to the day when I wake up and it is shown to me that it was all just a dream and the game of baseball never existed. Much rejoicing will ensue.

And then much money is made while you introduce a new and revolutionary ball game to the naive American public!

At least when the Royals and Pirates suck on a yearly basis, their fans know it's coming because ownership just refuses to spend money to get a better product on the field.

Our ownership spends as much as just about anyone outside of the Sawx and Yanks and we still can't win a damn thing.

Wherefore art thou, Restovich?

we are going to lose today

Moehler has a ERA of 7.29 so he will magically become Cy Young and pitch 7+ allowing 2 hits, no BB and 1 home run hit by Aram

Posted

they should play taps everytime a cubs batter comes up tomm. during the day

the most gross thing is that i will prolly end up watchin the flubs tomm.

Best part about this series is that the Marlins were coming into it having lost 7 in a row. Nothing like playing the Cubs to get you out of a bad losing streak.
Posted
When the pre-game show starts, they should just play the score from the opening assassination scene in JFK. It'll get everyone in an appropriate mood.

Go away Cubs, just go away.

I am SOlucky that the World Cup is on this summer, otherwise I'd be having a very boring and depressing sports summer.
