I want to know about the squirrel dangit! :(

It was running around the OF, kept switching directions and running away from the grounds crew. finally it started running down the 3B line, where a fan almost scooped it up with his glove. It finally hid in the tarp and they just let it be.

Officially switched over to my Red Sox uni to watch that game...I can't take anymore of this crap. And to think I actually thought the Cubs could start a winning streak against the worst team in the NL and a castoff Cubs pitcher. Boy, was I wrong.

And Ozzie just got ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

Such a waste of life.

While I concur, when's the last time Dusty even took the toothpick out if his mouth and his ass off the bench?

I agree, but the two are total opposites on the extreme ends of the spectrum.

Yeah...one's a winner and one's a loser.

Jesus Friggin' Christ. Listen to this tripe by MacPhail and Muskat

MIAMI -- The problem, Chicago Cubs team president Andy MacPhail says, is simple. The Cubs simply aren't driving in runs.

The numbers back him up. The Cubs entered Monday's game against the Florida Marlins batting .151 with runners in scoring position over the last 22 games. That's a big reason why the team is 18-25, and 10 1/2 games out in the National League Central.

"You just have to do better with runners in scoring position," MacPhail said Monday before the Cubs' game against the Florida Marlins. "It's something they're certainly aware of and certainly working on, we just have to continue it through into the game."

I can't wait for the team to start using the "We've just faced hot pitching!" excuse.

I was listening to the SCORE on the way home (yeah, i know it sucks, but only sports talk I can get in) and steve stone was talking about there schedule. From here until the All star break is going to be murders row. Cards, Whitesox, Astro's, Twins, Tigers and Reds.. Wonder what there excuse would be after all of those teams.

Sounds like Todd Walker's approach to a flyball when he was in LF.

this franchise is a disgrace to baseball

i'd say that this game sums up the cubs' season nicely.
