I can't believe that thought even crossed his mind. This is Dempster's first blown save that we've lost in over 50 some odd attempts. Latroy just was awful as a closer, consistently. And the race card comment made me want to throw my computer.

i'm pretty sure pierre can steal on piazza 99% of the time. why the HELL do you give up an out to get him to second base right there? baker is awful.

After awhile the anger wears into numbness. Right now I am comfortably numb.

 

This is why Dusty needs to go. The decision on this move cost the Cubs a run. It was a no-brainer to let Pierre steal and allow Cedeno to hit. I don't get it. Dusty's managerial decisions hinder this team. They aren't good enough to overcome decisions like these.

Going into this game who would have thought we would lose by a blown save? Just when you think we are about to win one we find another way to lose. All those crappy sacrifice bunts by Baker might have cost us this one. I knew we regressed from last year but boy are we just terrible right now. This team should be embarrassed of themselves.
