Wow...Pierre's avg is down to .238. We'd have been better off keeping Nolasco, Mitre, and Pinto and letting Patterson keep leading off.

Who would of thought that if we still had Patterson he would be our #2 outfielder?

Don't talk like that. You're depressing me.

your not depressed already?

I haven't been watching the last week or so.

In murton's AB? Grounded out on the first pitch...thus the Sarge and Clines reference

If they listened to Sarge, they'd be quite a bit better off, .364 lifetime OBP (including .410 in '84). I'm thinking the Sarge knows the value of working the pitcher and taking a few pitches.

Im hoping on the Bob Brenly bandwagon. Who is with me?

If you're trying to get him to do color for another team, then count me in.

Not a Brenly fan? I enjoy him.

No, not at all. I'm sure he is a nice guy, but his color analysis has slowly grown to irritate me. His communication of the obvious is mind numbing, IMO.

He'd be a perfect Cubs manager then. They need the mind numbingly obvious explained to them in detail.

I think Santo just said S### under his breath after Hairston popped out

I bet he has a bottle of Jack Daniels sitting next to him.

Pierre grounds out to Gonzalez.

Admit it. You had "Pierre grounds out to_____" written out ahead of time, so that all you had to do was fill in the blank. Am I right?

Do the Cubs have enough guts to bring Pie up to play for either Jones or Pierre? Or do they just continue to watch the same stuff over and over?

You could probably make some kind of macro to quicken the process.
