He's been staying ahead in the count, and then there are those times that the Cubs hitters will go ahead and make an out on the first pitch.

 

Not a bad outing. But, I could probably go out there and have a good outing against this group.

I kinda had a feeling that the whole Maddux rejuvination thing was a bit overblown. More like he improved slightly from last year, but was mostly on a good stretch to start the year.

As I alluded to in another thread, if the Cubs lose tonite, it will be the fourth losing streak of at least 7 games in the past year under Dusty.

KC nearly took 2 of 3 from the Sox and they beat Cleveland today too. They're better than us as of right now.

The Mets have too much talent compared to us to struggle that bad.
