One positive is that Maddux won't get the loss.

you don't have to pitch five to get a loss, only a win, so yeah, he will get the loss.

Gah. Its hard to find a positive.

EDIT: ANd yes, I was unaware of that rule.

Well at least we don't have to worry about trying to resign Maddux next year.

Thankfully, but with Hendry you never know. If the price is right I bet you that Hendry resigns him.

he has had more great games this year than he has had bad games, yourre a idiot if u think they shouldnt resign him for 2 bad outtings

Maybe, you're an idiot for thinking Maddux is only going to have two bad outings. Did you really expect him to have an ERA in the 2's all year?

Can you imagine the lack of a rush to get into the game if that we're the case?

so who's really good early in the draft for next year?

There's a RHP/C named Stock out of HS who's supposed to be the Next Big Thing like Upton was last year.

so uh, the way it's going we might end up with him?

Assuming the Cubs pick #3 behind KC and Pittsburgh and he's making reasonable demands for his talent...yes.

is he projected as a better catcher or pitcher?

the lack of having a rusch to get into a game would be even better.

Aramis should try to hit more singles to right field and then he'll start swinging the bat better and being a better leader in the clubhouse.

C'mon Dusty! DO the right thing and forfiet!

Ok, so how many consecutive losses will it take to get Dusty fired?

10 more?

Nope cuz he can just attribute everything to injuries and Hendry will believe that. too.

Hendry is more responsible for the failure of this team then Dusty is anyway.

Look at this roster.

Its terrible.

Frankly, I don't see why any consecutive Cardinals losses will have any influence on whether Baker gets fired or not.
