Edmonds has been sucking this year

He's hitting just .202 with a .299 OBP. He also has a team high 24 strikeouts in 84 at bats. I don't remember him being a slow starter. In fact, now that I think about it hasn't he always been a great hitter early in the season? What's wrong with him?

That's because almost every time he's up, Pujols is already on. (unless Pujols hit a home run) With someone on base almost every time you're up, you're eventually going to start racking up RBIs.

Edmonds is sucking, and Flash Gordon right now is the best reliever on the planet. Things will even out as the season progresses.

 

Edmonds of course is due for a decline he's not the moster he usually is, but expect a 124-130 OPS+. The OBP is 94 points above his BA. The BA and SA will level out and he'll put up decent numbers. Hey, he's leading the club in stolen bases so he definately has something left in the tank.

Well he does have 3HR and a 3B in the past week. Not exactly tearing it up other than that, but it looks like it is a TLR vote of confidence in him. Plus against LHers, TLR usually puts a RH behind Pujols.

It's actually quite common for men of desert-based cultures such as the Bedouins to wear a form of eyeliner to help with the sun. In Morocco, they use a really cool navy-blue/grey color. They usually just put it on the lower eye lid. Men just put it on their eyes while women also put it on their foreheads in patterns representing their origin.
