Pierre now at a scintillating .247/.276/.316/.592 for the year.

For a comparison, Patterson hit .215.254/.348/.602 last year.

Anybody see his hitting streak and avg. up to .278 with 7 steals?

WOW a LOWER OPS then Corey last year.

I really really regret wanting to get rid of the feast and famine offense of 2004. Or something like that

Haha lets try to double our hit total from the first 26 outs in our last one.

Oh wait, they are lugging a worthless sack of trash out there.

At least with Patterson, when did put the ball in play, there was a chance it could be hit with some authority. Pierre hasn't hit a ball hard in about two weeks...

Its a good thing I'm at work, as I would have hated wasting money or time to watch that.

Seriously, when are we going to sue the Cubs organization for mental cruelty?

Depends. Say if our starter today got hurt, or if Dusty hurt himself with his toothpick.

If Jacque Jones were to trip on his shoelaces, I would not cry.

I wish we could go back to the last 2 years when everyone complained about the Cubs hitting too many homers and not playing enough "smallball". This offense has no chance against lefties at all, I'm pretty sure even Glendon Rusch would shut this offense out right now. Pathetic.
