That pitch to Aguila started 6 inches off the plate and wound up 2 feet of the plate. Great movement, but how do you swing at a pitch like that?

 

First inning jitters aside (which I missed), Guzman looks impressive.

 

Do you remember half the pitches Wood got the Braves to chase in the NLDS. Pitches that broke into their bodies? Same thing as that.

I haven't seen any of the game, and am listening on the radio, but I will say that Guzman is looking good enough that Ron Santo actually appears to be paying attention.
