Well the Cubs sure looked lost at the plate last night. Just a bad approach even after Lowe left. Swinging early and often usually doesn't work against someone with good movement and bad control.

My immediate reaction to the Lofton steal last night was "walk Drew" since his run didn't matter anyway..... maybe it was just a gut feeling, but I would rather have seen a Williamson vs. Kent matchup in that situation.

 

Anyone else think the same thing at the time?

I said literally 4 seconds before the game-winning hit "I wish Ohman would IBB Drew and let Williamson come in, because Ohman will blow it". I hate when I'm right.
