Great line by Scully...

"He might as well bring chalk and a chalkboard out there with the way he's pitching."

Maddux is taking them to school.

Except for "Tad" and "Jack", I've really enjoyed listening to him. I don't know that I've ever heard him before.

what are you new?

Well, I don't live anywhere near LA, and I've never had MLB.TV before. Even if he does nationally televised games, I rarely get to see games on TV anyway.

he's vin sculley!!!ok wait, maybe its not so much you being new as it des me being old :x

Probably a dumb question, but who's vin sculley?

ok now i know im old

LOL no i'm just really young. Cya guys tomorrow.

22 Consecutive Saves for Dempster.

1:59 min game!

Short and sweet!

It's unfortunate that Maddux doesn't get the respect he deserves. If Clemens pitched 8 innings, 1 run, it would be huge news. Oh well. I'm going to the game on Sunday. I expect the same results from you, Maddux.

Awesome game to watch, I also really enjoyed Vin Scully tonight... literally a one-man-show!

Great game by the Cubs and what a pitching clinic Maddux put on!

Go Cubs!

I love listening to Scully. Too bad he announces for such a garbage team :?

And zero walks. When some of those long fly balls sail out of Wrigley with the wind blowing out, it would be nice if they're solo shots.

If you're saying he's lucky, I wish I were as lucky as he's been over the past 20 years. :D

Well, he's given up a few near-bombs in his other starts, as well, but his stuff is just so dominating right now and his control is sharp where it's not a huge deal if he gives up a HR or two. He's really limiting baserunners. I won't mind solo shots from Maddux.

I'm really enjoying this '06 version of Maddux.

The team needs him and Z to come through in these early games. Hopefully those other guys will get back soon.

Bryce Florie of the Red Sox is the pitcher who got hit in the face and was bleeding all over the place.

MadDog's performance tonight is the best I've seen a Cubs pitcher in a very long time.

Let's keep up our winning ways. :D
