Why does Dempster pitch every day?

 

This is Dempster's 7th appearance in 14 days, no?

 

I believe that's correct. He needs to stay sharp. Outside of that first AB, he's been able to make quick work of the ninth so far this season. If he'd only come in during save situations he would have only appeared twice so far...

He'll play right away. Gotta give Howry and Eyre some rest! Good to see Novoa hold his own today. 7-4 so far. A lot better then I thought they'd be at this point the season. I was just hoping and praying for .500! Keep it up guys!
