Fat useless Glendon is the guy to deliver us the series win, against some guy I've never heard of named Snell.

I won't be around for this one as I have to do a radio broadcast of Ball State softball during the game, but I have a feeling I won't miss much.

our inconsistancy that we had last year came back today...after scoring 11 runs yesterday, we struggle to put together 1 run today. Pretty pathetic offensive showing.

I'm betting the offense is actually going to be on their game tomorrow but Rusch is going to have a terrible effort, again.

Let's take 2 out of 3...

On the bright side, Ian Snell's ERA is a full run higher than Rusch's.

And judging from yestarday's game, Cubs will likely lower it.

I'm just saying:

Cubs don't come back in that Saturday Cardinals game, and their schedule has gone WLWLWLWLWL for the year.

Remember, there will be a Cubs pre-game on CSN at 12:00.

Noteworthy Match-ups (Chicago Cubs) Vs. Ian Snell (Righty, 0-0, with a 9.00 ERA in 2006)

Noteworthy Match-ups (Pittsburgh Pirates) Vs. Glendon Rusch (Righty, 0-2, with a 8.00 ERA in 2006)

Please dont give up a home run to Ian Snell

You know you're a terrible pitcher when....

Jack Wilson freaking owns you.

Are you saying Z is terrible?

Lets get a win today and the series. Losing two straight series to bad teams would not make me happy!

Snell put up some good numbers in the Minors (5 years).

ERA....IP.....H.....BB.....SO....WHIP

3.10..563...510...152...548....1.18

Which means he'll shut us down for 7 innings today...In all honesty this is a game we should win.

Ian Snell scouting report:

91-93 mph FB that can hit 96.

Sharp (plus) curveball - sometimes thought of as a slider.

Average, at best, changeup.

He's actually kind of small, about 5'11", 160 lbs.

Well we can hit fastballs....We win this game 7-3. I haven't been right with a prediction yet this year. Hopefully this will be the first.

You think Rusch will get out of the game only allowing 3 runs? I like your optimism.
