wow Bynum again. Why not Hairston in RF? Is this concept too difficult for Baker to understand?

What are the odds that Snell hits a home run today?

zero. he's no arroyo at the plate.

Arroyo wasn't anything special at the plate either in his first couple seasons in Pittsburgh. In 2001 he had 16 strikeouts in 21 AB's and for his career he is batting .102 with 34 strikeouts in 59 AB's.

I'm assuming Walker is batting fifth because Barrett is sitting today.

yea, it was a joke.

Why in God's name is Bynum hitting 2nd? That's ridiculous.

Win, por favor.

Otis89, coming to you live from the Holiday Inn Express in Brighton, Michigan!

Seriously? You're in my backyard. My practice borders Brighton. Had I known I would have bought you a beer or twelve to drown the pain of watching our boys.

well...I guess we have a lot of speed at the top. :chin:

I guess we should look for a lot of slap hits today. It's like a girls softball lineup.

I actually like Walker down in the 5-hole. He can drive in some runs from that position.

You gotta bring Murt and Young Ronny along and ease them in. Plus, Bynum is fast dude.

Like last night, I'm itching to get this game started...well maybe not so much with Gopher Ball Glendon on the mound, but I want to see my Cubbies play.

Why the hell is Blanco starting?

He's gotta stay fresh dude. What if Barrett gets hurt? I can't have my backup not being fresh man. He's gotta get his at bats dude.

Day after a night game. Sucks, no big suprise.

Ah, good call. I didn't even think of that.

And I'll bet nobody thought of Barrett going 1 for 8 the last two nights, either.

Really? Wow, I didn't realize that. Our offense was anemic last night though.
