He's a decent source of power and OBP. His minor league numbers were impressive.

 

Too bad his home park is the size of a national forrest.

Well, I was only joking around but "jeez" and "sheesh" are both real interjections and "Jeesh" is obviously some sort of slip of the two but isn't a real word. But like I said, I was only being facetious and I suppose by principle of the interjection you can write any combination of letters you want.

Shelton for MVP I can see it now.

Dude is a serious stud. And i picked him off the free agent list as a roster filler towards the end of last year when he started getting playing time. Hooray.

Dave Littlefield lets Shelton go for basically nothing in the Rule V draft and he winds up getting an extension. At least the Cub organization doesn't reward incompetence.....

Going on a tangent, I attended the NCAA Title game in Indianapolis and scored a couple UCLA National Champions t-shirts after the game. Discounted of course. But I must say, your team had a great year and went further than probably many would have thought. Although I did pick them to win it all. :)

 

Not sure if you made the trip to Indy or not but I'd say if not, go to the next Final Four if you can. It is a great experience. Honestly, the Gators pretty much had homecourt advantage for that title game, it seemed like a 10:1 ratio Gator fan to Bruin fan.
