Seriously guys. C'mon. What would you rather have, an 8th seed and a sweep by Detroit or 2 lottery picks?

8 seed and a sweep by Detroit, mid-first round pick along with a top 3 pick.

Yep. Not much difference between the 12th and 15th picks, especially balanced against additional playoff experience for the young core.

I think I'd rather have Paul Davis than Glen Davis.

i dont want Paul Davis. I am firmly on the Tyrus Thomas bandwgn.

and I believe we can give Detroit a ton more of a scare than Philly. I would love to see another playoff berth for this team...the playoff experience that the guys can get this year can be instrumental in the future.

Count me firmly against Paul Davis. Take Aldridge, and hope Tyrus or some other good player somehow falls to us at #15.

And I too would rather have a sweep against Detroit than another lottery pick that really wouldn't be any more beneficial than our 8th-seed pick.

He's a freshman. Is he supposed to come out? That game he had against Texas was VERY impressive. Also, Aldridge sucked against LSU. I havent seen him enough this year, but judging by that game, I dont want him on the Bulls.

He's projected to be a top 5 pick. I'd be shocked if he didn't come out.

I wouldn't judge LaMarcus by one game.

Tyrus Thomas a top 5 pick? I know the guy has tremendous leaping ability(check is in the mail Seth), but does the guy have any semblence of an offensive game outside of dunks?

Nice mid-range jumper.

He's currently ranked #2 on ESPN's draft prospects list.

Yeah i realized that and thats why i said I havent seen him enough. I just didn't like his approach. He seemed very passive and afraid to take it inside. I'm sure this game was an abberation. I was just stating that he looked horrible in that game. He did look pretty good against W. Virginia though. A few nice moves inside.

To clarify, I was in no way supporting the drafting of Paul Davis. I'm just that against the drafting of Glen Davis.

Big Baby won't be much in the NBA. Game is too up tempo and not enough half court sets for him to catch wind. He's a skilled big man, yes, but not projectible for the pro game where his size would be a hinderance.

I still vote 2 lottery picks over a 1st round defeat in the playoffs. Although the odds are slim, there is still that sliver of a chance that both picks are in the top 3, which would be huge.

"As far as I know, I'm coming back", said LaMarcus Aldridge in today's Austin American-Statesman.

Figures that we'd get a top 3 pick in the Year of No Can't-Misses. Would any of the guys currently being floated as top picks even have been top 5 in the Wade-Melo-LeBron-Hinrich draft?

AS far as he knows, which means he doesn't have an agent yet

I think Tyrus Thomas is that guy, especially for us. He reminds me a lot of Iguodala, and he's taller. Exactly what the Bulls need next to Chandler.

IF nothing else, Thomas is a future NBA Slam Dunk Champ.

If we draft Morrison I will disavow this team. There's no question in my mind that he is not going to be a great pro, and probably not even a very good one.
You've been listening to Skip Bayless? haven't you? He said the same thing about Morrison.

Well, Skip is right this time. He won't be a star.

Bulls up 8 at the half.

New update at http://www.nbadraft.net where the writers have taken crack have the Bulls at number two taking Adam Morrison and Tyrus Thomas going one overall.

I can see Thomas going one overall but I can't see the Bulls taking a 3 with their first pick.

I would never agree with Skip unless I felt very strongly about something, and I feel very strongly that Morrison's game won't translate well to the NBA.

(I did not know that Skip said that)

Bulls choke. Again. This is going to be a "who wants it least" race for the 8th seed.

What's wrong with Morrison's game? I think he will do fine. He won't be a star, but I can see him having a long career and getting 12-15 a game pretty consistently.

You don't spend a top 3 pick on the potential to be Keith Van Horn.
