Pagan is 2-3. I like it. I still maintain that the young guys like Murton and Cedeno are the keys to the team.

Nice bunt by Slappy.

I wouldnt be surprised to see this guy take over for Jock Strap by end of season if he keeps it up.

That would mean he obviously played well enough to earn it based on Dusty's past use of young players so if Pagan does pass Jones by the end of the year I would be ecstatic.

Dusty was quoted as saying he is really excited by the youth of his squad. However, I agree with you.

Let's not get too high on Pagan here. It's only 1 game.

Anyone else trying hard to contain their excitement, knowing what happened last year?

2003: W 15-3, Rest of series: 0-1

2004: W 7-4, Rest of series: 0-2

2005: W 16-5, Rest of series: 0-2

2006: Up 16-7, Rest of series: ?

Thoughts: Loving the speed, if this holds up all year, I owe JH a huge apology, but I'm still far from that point yet.

I know that Pagan will have his bad stretches, but my point was if he does end up starting over Jones towards the end of the season that it will have been an impressive rookie year.

Hopefully with all this speed and small ball we wont have quite as much of the feast or famine offense we had last season, so we shouldn't be quite as streaky.

Or a really, really bad year by Jacque.

But I think these stats actually count for something... :D

Or are these like Spring Training and don't count because its a blow out?
