Pujols with 2 homers and 4 RBI on the day so far.

Miles is a homer short for the cycle.

Cards 13

Phils 1

If Miles has a good year, I will be convinced that Jocketty and LaRussa have signed some sort of Faustian pact signed in the blood of Cubs fans.

You realize we hate your team, right? REALLY hate them.

Great outing by His Eyreness.

man dunn is getting it.

Why is Hatterberg playing first? I thought they traded Casey to make room at first for Dunn?

Dunn is more comfortable playing of

They did. Then they traded away Willie Mo for an average at best pitcher in Arroyo and had no LF. I'd be willing to bet though that Dunn goes back to 1st and Freel plays LF, in the very near future.

EE strikesout. Nice cleanup for Eyre.

That is what the team was missing early last year. It would have been great if he could have held them without a run, but he did an excelltent job IMO.

Nice job kid.

Then they traded Pena to Boston for pitching.

Dunn's defense sucks at first base too.

In other news, Aaron Miles continues the tradition of incredibly crappy to mediocre plays going to St. Louis and becoming world beaters.

3/3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI in the 8th spot.

I hate St. Louis.

One day we will find out how they've been cheating. I just know it.

Their performance enhancing drug program is the best in baseball.

BeerPrediction: Dunn gets traded to the AL at the break

Williamson. Almost did us in.

I need some Jack. But it's too early. Oh my goodness.

Patience.

4 hours and 15 minutes till 24. Then you'll get plenty of Jack.

Get Williams warmed up right now. Put him in for 7-9 if he keeps the big lead.

That makes too much sense for Dusty to actually do it.

He did a fantastic job; he came in with no outs and the bases loaded
