I almost had bleacher seats lined up for both the Padres series and the Braves series in May but one fell through and I screwed up the other by trying to open more windows :(

Haha sure.

Oh and I didn't mention (not to rub it in) but all of the first group of games that my best friend bought are bleachers. :D

Note to self:

Jump in lobby BEFORE going to your four hours of classes next year. :P

It's all good, Ebay worked for my friends and I last year so I'm sure it will come through again.

I got NOTHING. Looks like if I wanna go to Wrigley, I'll be ebaying it or going through a freakin broker.

a) Not all tickets will be sold out tonight (I was able to buy bleacher seats for a value date 3-4 days after tickets went on sale last year

b) The Cubs usually release more tickets before every homestand

c) Buying through a broker doesn't necessarily mean paying over face value if you play your cards right

I had the window open all day at work... no luck. The guy next to me... got through 7 times. He has tickets to seven different series. My only bright spot was another guy I work with got in twice, but only wanted one game. So he bought me four tix for the Cards games on April 9th. Section 218, row 17 I believe.

Not exactly opening day, but it'll do.

I got through with 800-THE-CUBS twice in about 5 minutes.

I went best available for the April 30th against the Brewers and August 3rd against the Diamondbacks. It was about 3:30 and the best available were

403 for the Brewers

236 for the Diamondbacks

Somewhat disappointed by the seats from looking at a seating map but beggers can't be choosers.

I wound up with six tickets for July 28 and six for July 29, six tickets for June 28th (build-a-bear day--family game) and two bleacher seats for April 9.

And I tried to get bleacher seats for ndistops but failed. :(

Next year I shall endeavor to be Queen of the VWR!

I guess I got caught up in the craze or something because I purchased a set of bleacher seats for the July 30th game against the Cards, along with a pair of seats in section 236 for that game too. So... I'm gonna need to sell the two seats in section 236. If anyone is interested, PM me. And I want to be upfront... I do want to make some profit. This game is already sold out, and after spending 500+ dollars on tickets today, I'd like to recoup some of that. The face value, after taxes and all that, is 70 and some change. If you're interested, let me know.

Well my girlfriend was able to tickets to a couple of Cards games after all! Woohoo!

I might be interested in buying a ticket to the NSBB game if anyone has an extra. That said it might not be advisable considering I'd wear my cards hat.

The NSBB game [5/18] still has bleacher seats avaiable. get on and get a couple.

EDIT: They're almost gone though (just checked the numbers, they're at 4150 or so) so hurry if you want 'em.

I already have tickets to that series. We got in on the group sales, and got 45 tickets. We're packing a couple buses with Cub fan friends of ours, and we're taking over a section of the stadium again. Anyone that has the opportunity to go to a game in Milwaukee against the Cubs... it's worth it.

I was looking what I got for tickets again I noticed that my Sat. Detroit game has the same exact sec. row and seat as my Sunday Detroit game. I did not click on the Wrigley field map on the ticketing page. All I did was click on the Field box OF button. Kind of weird.

That sounds like a blast. Remind us to watch and TV and make some NOISE!

Anyone know how many games are sellouts? The last I saw, 23 were completely soldout.

I counted 27 a couple hours ago, I assume it hasn't changed.

I haven't looked today, but in each of the past few years there were more games that were sold out but still had the ticket icon up.

Queen you are! I saw you out there in the trenches today getting tix for others. And Seth ursuped me as King this year. Good job guys! I was not as fortunate as last year, but with the help of friends still got 15 games. However, most importantly, theres going to be an NSBB meet up this year!!!

I can't complain about the experience. I have a rough schedule to say the least, especially once we get to the month of June. With that being said, I figured if I got any tickets it would be great, but if I didn't I wouldn't be disappointed. I got in twice, but the window closed out on the second attempt. In any case, I don't mind section 120 for the Brewers/Cubs on April 29th! The only way it'll get any better is if I win a DLee signed bat! Too bad the Chiefs aren't home on the 28th.

Actually, the initial schedule is not an accurate representation of sold out games, but if you click to get tickets and then go to (or bypass) the VWR, the second schedule accurately shows the sold out games. Thats what I counted from and most likely explains the difference between me and Old.
