Section 120 are great seats!

Thanks, I can't wait! The first time it gave me tickets for that game they came up in the right field corner. I asked for different seats and there they were! Unfortunately my wife won't be able to go, but I don't think I'll have a hard time finding someone who wants to make the trip!

A buddy was in the waiting room for over 2 hours, and his gf at least an additional hour and came away with nothing. Will they be for sale on-line tomorrow?

That sounds like a blast. Remind us to watch and TV and make some NOISE!

Oh, with the group we've got going, noise definitely won't be a problem. Some of the best and most passionate Cub fans I've ever seen. We've done this for the past few years, and we make sure the Cubs players know they have fans who made the trip to Wrigley Field North. It's great that we all have seats in the same section too.

You can get in and look for tickets with no waiting at all right now.

However, most importantly, theres going to be an NSBB meet up this year!!!

Anyone with 3+ extra bleacher seats to any weekend series in the summer I would be glad to grab the three.

Haha...I was deliberating over whether I wanted bleacher tickets to the San Diego series May 12-14 and while I was waiting, the 12th (the only one that had had bleachers available) got bought up...oh well.

I didn't bother trying for a weekend game.

Got section 120 row 8 for SD 5/12. I'll take a vacation day and make a weekend out of it. I haven't been to Wrigley in 5 years, so it should be really fun.

Well, never having bought Cubs tix on line I was gonna ask if I should go for the 5/12 Pads game, or hold out and see what they would have available (held back) closer to the game, but I just saw a couple of posts ago, they're gone. What other options do we have? Do they generally hold back quite a few tix? and anyone wanting to get rid of a couple of tix for a Cardinals/Cub game, contact me.

I had the same problem that someone mentioned earlier. I was picked out of the VWR at noon, went through all the steps, but the numbers that you had to type in would not show up.....there was just a blank space. I was tossed back into the VWR and about an hour later, 2 of my windows popped up allowing me to buy tickets. The same thing happened again.

Needless to say I was irate, cursing up a storm and kicking things.

A friend of mine suggested using a different search engine, so I switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox and voila.....problem solved.

I got tickets for (all of which are bleachers):

2 for 4/30 vs. Brewers

2 for 5/17 vs. Nationals

4 for 5/26 vs. Braves

2 for 6/14 vs. Astros

2 for 6/26 vs. Brewers

6 for 6/29 vs. Brewers

2 for 8/2 vs. Diamondbacks

2 for 8/22 vs. Phillies

So, I ended up the day a happy camper, though much lighter in the wallet!

Tickets were easy to come by in the afternoon for the weeknight games.

If anyone is interested in trading tickets, let me know.

Alot of times it's not that tickets are held back, but that the sale doesn't go through. Ticketmaster generally recommends you continue trying because if, for some odd reason, someone's sale is cancelled or something then those tix go back on sale. Happens with the Bears all the time (though I admit I've never checked back for Cub tix).

Anyone trying to get tickets at Miller?

Yeah. Not that long to get in. Once you are in the thing takes forever for the transaction to go through. For 7/8 every section was still available but i needed 4 tickets and they didnt have 4 together. So i got tickets for sundays game, best they had was 4 in the UD.

I've got the following dates at Miller Park:

Friday, July 7 Field Outfield Box LF Sec 127 Row 26

Sunday, July 9 Terrace Reserved

Wednesday, August 9 Field Diamond Box Sec DB 110 Row 4

2 tickets for each game. Now I'm not sure if I can make them all.

Alright, thanks a lot. I'll check it out.

Tickets don't really get released through the tickets.com system for in-demand games anymore. It's possible a few are at the box office, but if it's a small quantity, they don't reopen closed games online or over the phone. There will be other dates that have some good seats released a day or two before the game, though.

I tried to get 4 seats for the Saturday 7/8 game but wasn't able to (this was about 9:20am).

A friend of mine ended up getting 4 tickets for the Friday night 7/7 game instead.

Well, I got 4 tix in the bleachers for the Reds game 9/17 in the bleachers. Well, better than nothing I guess. But its so damn far away. I just hope they're playing for something by that time.

If you want 4 tix together and it's a weekend game, then I find yes they sell quickly.

However----and I saw this alot last year---if the Cubs are looking bad most of those tix will be available for sale at the game. There will be alot of groups that have 1 or 2 people decide they would rather spend the time futzing around the house or what-not than travel all the way to Milwaukee to watch a bad Cub team.

My friend says his uncle spent all of Friday at the computer and he got a whole bunch of tickets, some of which he could sell to us at face value. How sweet would it be if he sold us some Cards or Sox tickets? :D
